ADVENTURER. LEADER. STORYTELLER.
Hey! Thanks for visiting my website.
My name is Ashley Campbell and I am Class of 2023 graduate of the University of Tampa where I earned my BFA in Musical Theatre and BA in International Studies/Political Economy. I am currently living in Tallahassee where I am training in customer service, which I find to be a good fit because nothing makes me happier than making someone's day a little bit easier and putting a smile on their face.

I was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida where I graduated from the historic Leon High School in 2019. You could catch me around town performing on various community stages, discussing local issues and advocating for Leon County's students at school board meetings, camping, hiking, or volunteering with local Girl Scouts, or spending time with my wonderful family and two adorable dogs.

In 2016, I studied abroad for a year in Marienheide, Germany (about 55 KM from Cologne) as a Rotary Youth Exchange Student. I had the time of my life, living with some amazing families and making lifelong friends; but most importantly, I gained a better understanding for their incredible culture and was able to learn the complex German language. In fact, I earned my Telc B2 Certificate at the end of the year and am always working on continuing my German studies, both conversationally and in performance.

While studying in Tampa, I kept myself busy by participating in many different activities on-campus. I was a graphic design artist and social media manager for the theatre department, a member of the University of Tampa's chapter of Phi Kappa Phi, the Nu Upsilon chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, and a member of the Alpha Kappa cast of Alpha Psi Omega at the University of Tampa (President 2022-2023, Secretary 2021-2022). You could also find me performing with the Chamber Singers, OPUS, and Opera Workshop when I was not busy working on a show with the Theatre and Musical Theatre programs.

Off-campus, you could find me attending meetings with the Tampa Bay Area Committee on Foreign Relations as a Mark Orr Foreign Affairs Fellow from the University of Tampa (2021-Present). I also remained active with the Rotary Youth Exchange Florida program as a Rotex Volunteer, helping the program welcome inbound exchange students to the state of Florida, acting as a mentor for exchange students living in my area, and preparing future outbound exchange students from the state of Florida to have a successful exchange year.

As I begin to move into the next professional chapter of my life, I am excited to see what all is in store for me. My aspiration as an artist has always been to "tell a beautiful story," using the arts as a way to foster cultural understanding, bring communities together, and to celebrate the stories that art, music, and theatre allow us to share with people all over the world. I hope that wherever I land professionally, I will be able to do just that: share stories with others that inspire and encourage them to live their lives enthusiastically.
