Today we grounded all of our flights for Boeing Boeing at the University of Tampa and it is a little surreal that this wonderful experience is already over.
To the cast & crew: thank you. From the very bottom of my heart, thank you for making this such a wonderful, pleasant, and fun experience. I could not have asked for a better cast and creative team to work with, and I hope you all know just how special of an experience this has been for me. There was not a single day that I was dreading rehearsal or this process because you guys always made it so much fun and created such a safe space for us to make magic in.
To our audiences who came out to support us over these past four days: you all are incredible. This show is nothing but pure fun to perform and getting to share this fun and excitement with you all has been a blast!! I love getting to do what I do on a stage no matter what, but talking with you all after these shows and realizing that you all are having (possibly) just as much fun as we are has been really, really special.
To our wonderful captain & director, Rosemary: thank you for trusting me with Gloria and her story in your production. Working with you has been so wonderful and I have learned and grown so much as an actor these past weeks, so really, thank you.
Finally, thank you to Gloria who has taught me that sometimes all it takes a little creative thinking to accomplish your goals. I’m going to miss you, you feisty, fiery, flirtatious red head you. And of course, I will never forget that “it” (whatever it may be) “is not impossible”.
